Onondaga Lake Fishing with The Stewards of Syracuse On Wednesday, July 30th 2008, we were again asked to assist the advisors of SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. The program is called the Stewards of Syracuse, and it is a partnership between SUNY ESF, CNY Works, and Syracuse City Parks and Recreation. They were treating the youngsters that they are working with to a fishing outing on the Onondaga Lake outlet. Three of our club members showed up to help the youngsters bait hooks, unhook fish and in general, teach them how to fish. In the end, everyone had a lot of fun. Below are some pictures.
