Meeting

Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m. by President Tom Hudson

Changes to by-laws were discussed and voted on.  All changes were passed with some modifications.

President Tom Hudson started discussion on “Launch / Fishing site stewardship” After a discussion Mike Dixon made a motion to take on the project, and to spend any monies needed to build the fish line collection receptacles.  Later in the discussion, Dave Donhauser indicated that he may be able to acquire the materials at little or no cost. Fifteen sites were spoken for at the meeting.

There was discussion on the need for a Publicity Chairman, Dominick Maio volunteered, and Bill Kays volunteered as Assistant Publicly Chairman

Then we had discussion on which way our club would measure fish.  The DEC way (make the fish as long as possible by opening the mouth and sweep the tail) or the NY BASS Federation way, (Close the mouth and sweep the tail).  It was decided that we would use the NY BASS Federation way.

DEC / NY BASS invasive species survey was handed out to all members present and everyone was asked to fill in the survey and return by the supplied envelope.  Those members not present were asked to fill out the survey on line.

Dick Hyde then talked to the members about our new sponsor “Pro Troll”. After Dick’s presentation, all members were given time to come up and pick out a free lure donated by “Pro Troll”

The promotions committee then held our lure draw and $74.00 was collected.

No more meetings will be held before fishing season starts and then only if needed.
