Minutes from Sunday, March 22, 2009 Meeting
Call to order: President Tom Hudson at 6:00 PM at RFH Restaurant 20 members in attendance
Treasurer’s report: Members may see report on the "Members Only" page.
Old Business: T. Hudson, spoke about need of providing proof of insurance for boaters, distributed NYS Bass Federation explanation of insurance coverage. Tom also spoke about the Pike tournament on Owasco Lake on Sat. 2 May. Pike tournament is not an official club tournament. There must be at least one member of the club in each boat and it is open to friends and family. More news to be forth coming, however times will probably be 7 AM to 12 Noon.
New Business: T. Hudson brought up that it is important for our bass club to volunteer wherever possible to help out the NYS Bass Federation. They are always looking for volunteers for various projects. Discussion was held about the Fed. Needs. New member introduced, Klaus Chamberlin.
Discussion was started on how the CTC team is selected. It was decided to keep things the same, as it is now 3 members each from the boater and non-boater category and an alternate from each of those two divisions.
Committee Report: Tournament Committee was able to purchase a back up scale for $50. An evening tournament was discussed but no dates are in place. Will be the same criteria as the Pike tournament, one club member must be in the boat, follow club rules, but not an official club function. More news to follow. Promotions Committee: We are hoping to get most of our sponsors back, but the way the economy is we may lose some. Remember to purchase items from our sponsors.

Next Meeting: no meetings planned, any business will be taken care of on tournament day.
