Our Fishing Format

  • Boaters and non-boaters (co-anglers) will be paired by draw, one week before tournament. Pairings will be shifted by the tournament committee, if the Boater and co-angler have fished together once this year

  • Although the boater and co-angler must either thru different live wells or through different tagging systems keep their fish separated. Cooperation and sharing of fishing techniques and lures between the two is highly recommended and encouraged.

  • Our fishing times are from first safe light to 1:00 p.m. sharp, or 7 hours, which ever is longer.

  • We are a catch and release Club. All bass shall be release unharmed.

  • If any dead fish is entered, a 4 oz penalty is assessed.

  • A 4oz penalty is assessed for each minute being late to weight in.

  • If you are late for blast off, any fish entered will not be counted.

  • Fish will be weighed on club scales, accurate to 100th of a pound. The weight called by the weigh master will be final.

  • Payout for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place, plus "Lunker"

  • After each tournament, the winner is encouraged to share the winning technique. The exact place is not necessary, but the type of structure fished, the technique, the lure, the depth, etc.

  • Points are awarded as follows, 30 for first. 29 for second, etc. Duplicate points for ties.

  • Points are accumulated for all tournaments. After the last tournament but before the Classic only the best 5 tournaments for each member will be counted, thereby compacting the field going into the Classic.

  • Double points will be awarded for the two day Classic. (Making it possible for anyone to win "angler of the year".)

  • Angler with the most points at the end of the year in both divisions, boater and non-boater, is crowned "Angler of the year". Angler catching the largest fish during the year in both divisions, will receive "Lunker of the year" award.

  • We hold our annual banquet in January, All wife's, girlfriends and children are invited to attend.

  • For complete rules, see the "By Laws" page on this web site.
