Meeting

This meeting, held at RFH's Hide-a-way just north of Phoenix, was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by President Tom Hudson.

We were pleased to welcomed 5 new members to our club. they are, Guy Cromp, Frank Doll, Chad Acome, Ryan Fluent, and Jeff Raner. Welcome from all the members of the GOB Bass Club.

President Tom Hudson gave a report on the NYS Bass Federation meeting that was held this afternoon in Cicero NY.

Tom then reported that he had donated the use of our 2nd backup scale to the GOB Junior Bass Club

Committee Reports:

Weigh master, Jack Loughrey, showed us the new tournament scale. It came complete with a case and a fold up weigh basket.

Dick Hyde then reported on the Bass Pro Charity tournament that will be held on Owasco Lake on May 19th. Bass Pro has asked us to man the weight station on the south end of the lake, and also to donate our back up scale to be used by the club manning the north end of the lake.

The tournament is put on by Bass Pro, and the proceeds are given to charities in the Auburn area.

Three of our members will be donating their time and boats to take "dignitaries" fishing.

A list was made and times were assigned to the members that will be manning the weigh station that day.

The meeting was then turned over to Steve Tagami, Sales Manager for Mustad.  Steve came to give us all a presentation on their new product, Activate. This is the third product that has been developed by Mustad. Their first two products, Ultrabite, and Stimulate have been replaced with Activate, a pheromone based product.

Steve gave us a very informative power point demonstration, and then handed our samples of Activate for everyone to try. Thank you again Steve.
