April 23rd 2006 Meeting The meeting was held at the Pizza Hut in Fulton, NY. The meeting was called to order by President Tom Hudson at 6:03 p.m. Treasurer, Chris French gave his report. (Full report on the members only page) One of our new members, Bill Kays was introduced to the membership. Then president Tom Hudson sent a get well card for Dom Maio around for all the members to sign. Paul Hudson passed around samples of some business cards that he can make on his computer. The program costs $30.00 and we can all have our own cards printed up with our own name. Chris French has a whole box of paper that he will donate to the club for the cards. We looked over the different samples and then passed a motion to have the club pay Paul for the program. All members should contact Paul with their preference and order their first 10 cards. Connell Raate reported that he had visited "The Wigwam" at Sandy Pond last Friday, and they charge $7.00 for a boat launch. But they will give us a ticket when we pay for the launch and that ticket is worth $7.00 at the bar or restaurant that day. Because of the traffic problem at Maggie's Pizza, and that we can get our money back at the restaurant, we will be launching at the Wigwam this year. There was some discussion on the order of "de-watering" after a tournament. It was decided that the non-boaters should make sure that the tournament directors, Jack Loughery and Ryan Smith should be the first two boats out of the water so that they can get the weigh table and fish buckets set up. Tom Hudson should be next to set up the GOB banners and get ready to record weights. Treasurer Chris French and photographer Connell Raate should come next, then the rest of the club in any order. Dick Hyde mentioned that we should have the $2.00 lure draw again at our tournaments this year. He will contact his suppliers for donations of lures, boxes line, hooks etc for those draws. Dick also confirmed that Bass Pro will be donating two rods for each of our tournaments again this year. The meeting was closed at 7:00 p.m. This will be our last "official" meeting this year. Anything that needs to be taken care of will be brought up at the tournament weigh-ins.
